All Time Low Live At 20 Monroe In Grand Rapids

On October 23rd, All Time Low played a show at GLC Live at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The line to get into the venue was wrapped around two buildings, but that didn’t stop everyone from being excited to see the show.

Starting off the night was a new pop punk band called Meet Me at the Altar. They were an incredible, high energy all-female band. Go see them if you ever have the chance. They’re insanely talented and definitely were my favorite act of the night.

Next up was Nothing,Nowhere who was also an amazing act. Him and his touring band did an awesome job getting the crowd hyped for All Time Low. They performed songs such as “Pieces of You”, “Clarity in Kerosene” and “fake friend”.

Finally, All Time Low walked onto the stage while Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” was playing. The first song they played was “Do You Want Me (Dead)?” from their 2011 album Dirty Work. They mostly played songs from their new album Wake Up Sunshine including “Getaway Green”, “Safe” and “Sleeping In”. Alex Gaskarth, the lead singer and guitarist, even stopped the show a couple of times to make sure fans were okay and still having a good time. They even played some old ATL classics such as “Vegas”, “Lost in Stereo” and “Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)”.

Future Hearts is undoubtedly my favorite All Time Low album and they only played one song from it, which was “Cinderblock Garden”. It was awesome to finally hear that song live, but I would have loved to hear some more tracks from Future Hearts. Of course, an All Time Low show is never complete until the band comes out for their encore and performs “Dear Maria, Count Me In” while the crowd goes berserk.

I’ve seen All Time Low 5 times and they never not put on a wonderful show. All three bands put on such an awesome show in Grand Rapids that night.
