White’s sixth studio album, No Name officially arrived on Friday, August 2 following its clandestine white-label appearance at Third Man Records locations that saw customers slipped, guerilla-style, free unmarked vinyl copies in their shopping bags. True to his DIY roots, the record was recorded at White’s Third Man Studio throughout 2023 and 2024, pressed to vinyl at Third Man Pressing, and released by Third Man Records.

White has marked the arrival of No Name with surprise shows around the world, including sold-out pop-up dates set for tonight at Austin, TX’s Mohawk and tomorrow, November 15, at San Antonio, TX’s Paper Tiger. An official music video for “That’s How I’m Feeling” compiling footage from the road is streaming now on YouTube.

See below for complete tour itinerary.

Tyler Childers: On The Road,” presented by Live Nation and FPC Live, will feature special guests Wynonna Judd, Charley Crockett, Robert Earl Keen, The Hold Steady, Medium Build, Deer Tick, Hayes Carll, S.G. Goodman, Cory Branan and SOMA. Tickets for the tour will be available for Artist Presale starting Tuesday, November 19 at 10:00am local time with general on-sale following next Friday, November 22 at 10:00amlocal time. Presale registration is open now through Sunday, November 17 at 11:59pm ET, full details can be found HERE

$1 from every ticket sold will benefit both Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund(HHARF) and REVERB. Established in 2020 by Childers and Senora May, HHARF brings awareness and financial support for philanthropic efforts in the Appalachian Region. REVERB’s efforts reduce environmental impact in live music, engage fans and fund carbon impact programs to address the impacts of the tour that cannot be eliminated.

Childers wants to give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value. To make this possible, those who purchase tickets on Ticketmaster and can’t attend will have the option to resell their tickets at the original price paid using the Face Value Exchange. To protect the Exchange, Childers has requested that all shows ticketed by Ticketmaster, except those in New York and Virginia where Face Value Exchange can’t be mandated, use tickets that are mobile-only and restricted from transfer. For AXS-ticketed events, fans will be able to resell their tickets for face value plus fees through AXS Official Resale Marketplace.

“One of country music’s most compelling and unpredictable artists” (Associated Press), Childers is in the midst of yet another landmark year following the release of his new album, Rustin’ In The Rain, which debuted at #10 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart last fall (Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records, stream/purchase here). The record features seven tracks including the 2x Grammy, VMA and ACM-nominated single, “In Your Love,” which, since its release, has broken into the top 35 on the Mediabase Country chart, garnered over 12 million video views, 215 million on-demand streams and received praise from outlets such as NPR MusicRolling StoneBillboardUSA Today, PitchforkStereogum and many more. Watch the official music video, written/creative directed by Silas House, and starring Colton Haynes and James Scully, HERE

Rustin’ in the Rain follows 2022’s triple album, Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?, which featured eight songs presented in three distinct sonic perspectives—Hallelujah, Jubilee and Joyful Noise. Released to widespread acclaim, Esquire praised, “Who’s doing it better than Childers in roots music these days? No one,” while NPR Music declared, “eight songs so good he had to record them thrice.” Before Hounds, Childers released 2020’s Grammy-nominated surprise album, Long Violent History, which NPR Music called an “explicit and remarkable stand in solidarity.” His two previous releases, 2019’s #1 Country Squire as well 2017’s RIAA Platinum debut, Purgatory, were released to overwhelming critical and commercial acclaim. In the years since his debut, Childers has earned seven Grammy nominations and has been featured on “CBS This Morning,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert series and “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.”

T-Pain Honored by Hometown of Tallahassee with Official Street Designation, Key to the City & Sold-Out Bicentennial Celebration

Over the weekend, GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, producer, songwriter, entrepreneur and global cultural icon T-Pain was celebrated in his hometown of Tallahassee with a street dedication ceremony, a key to the city and a long-awaited, sold-out concert for thousands of fans at Cascades Park.

Sunday served as a celebration and a walk down memory lane for T-Pain (whose T stands for Tallahassee) as he returned home to the city that raised him, surrounded by friends and family. The day kicked off with a portion of Pasco Street designated“T-Pain Lane,” and the ceremony concluded with Mayor John Dailey presenting T-Pain with a golden key to the city.

“He has had a tremendous impact on Tallahassee,” Dailey said. “He’s had a tremendous impact on the kids of Tallahassee, and he’s a great role model and a great example. I’m just proud to celebrate with him today.”

The day’s festivities concluded with a bicentennial concert at The Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park that sold out in one week and was hosted by Visit Tallahassee, the tourism arm of Leon County Government. “Everything that went on today was just a dream come true,” said T-Pain from the stage.

To close out the year, T-Pain will headline the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and iHeartRadio Jingle Balls in Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta.

State Champs Release Self-Titled Album via Pure Noise Records

State Champs

Release Self-Titled Album

via Pure Noise Records

Save Face Story

Music Video Out Now

Albany-raised pop-punk band State Champs released their highly anticipated fifth studio record and self-titled album via Pure Noise Records. The record is available to order on vinyl and stream now.

To commemorate the release day, the band also shared a music video for their punchy track “Save Face Story,” which had been teased on social media over the past few weeks. There were three other singles put out leading up to today, including “Light Blue,” Too Late To Say,” and “Silver Cloud,” all of which had accompanying music videos.

The band shared their thoughts on “Save Face Story” below:

“’Save Face Story’ is one of our personal favorites from the record. It spotlights an unlikely friendship between State Champs and German-based Hardcore Funk band Slope, providing one of the most exciting and effortlessly cool collaborations Champs has ever done. On paper, the combination might not make total sense, but the result speaks for itself. It’s perhaps an unexpected curve ball added to the rotation of our very familiar brand of windows-down pop punk.”

Nearly 15 years after the band’s formation, lead singer Derek DiScanio, bassist Ryan Scott Graham, guitarist Tyler Szalkowski, and drummer Evan Ambrosio found themselves at different points in their personal lives—marriage, kids, and relocations across the country created new relationship dynamics. Produced by Anton DeLost(Mayday Parade, Hawthorne Heights), State Champs will showcase some of their best edgy, high-energy tracks that have defined their career thus far, making it the exact right time to debut their self-titled album.

From the outside looking in it seems that State Champs are a band finally taking control of the wheel, possibly because for the first time, they know what direction they should be heading,” shared Kerrang! in their recent cover story on the band.

We found our way, through the ups and downs within us, personally and as a band, and wanted to express that in this new record,” explains frontman Derek DiScanio. This is the right time to showcase it.” Bassist Ryan Scott Graham agrees. “When we stepped back and looked at the songs, sonically and thematically, it’s a great vision of who we are. Every era of State Champs exists within this record.”

Comprised of 12 tracks, the songs on this record explode with passionate and smartly constructed precision. While big, bold, and slick, the production nevertheless sounds like a band in a room together or decimating the stage. It’s a perfect example of how the band has become a major player in the pop-punk scene, championing the genre over the past decade.

State Champs Track List:

1.   The Constant

2.   Silver Cloud

3.   Clueless

4.   Light Blue

5.   Too Late To Say

6.   Hell Of It

7.   Sobering

8.   Tight Grip

9.   I Still Want To

10. Just a Dream

11. Save Face Story

12. Golden Years

State Champs head out on their North American tour today, playing a collection of tracks from the new album and their previous hits. Supporting them on this tour are Knuckle Puck, Meet Me at The Altar, and Daisy Grenade. They kick things off tonight in Austin, Texas, and will be visiting major cities throughout November and December, including Phoenix, Anaheim, Salt Lake City, Denver, Cleveland, Nashville, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Toronto, among others. They will wrap up the tour on December 8 in New York City. Tickets are on sale now at: https://statechamps.band/pages/tour.

Over the course of their career, State Champs has received accolades from the likes of Rolling Stone, MTV, Kerrang!, Upset, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound, among others. Their sophomore album, Around the World and Back, entered the Billboard Current Rock Albums chart at No. 3 and made Rock Sound’s Top 10 Albums of the Year. Living Prooffollowed in 2018, and that same year Billboard called them “modern-day pop-punk torchbearers.” The band has also collaborated with some of pop-punk’s heaviest hitters, co-writing songs with Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low and Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 on their fourth studio album Kings of the New Age.

Rolling Stone spoke with the band exclusively on their record this summer and shared they are “channeling their definitive mix of punchy punk rhythms and irresistible pop hooks in the new tracks.” On State Champs, they cement themselves as an outfit that can and will stand the test of time.

Proven as such with recent standout live performances at The MTV VMA’s, where she won an award for Best New Artist, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and more, Chappell Roan is a musical powerhouse with an unstoppable trajectory, also highlighted with recent viral moments from a cover story with Rolling Stone and a conversation with Bowen Yang for Interview Magazine. Hailed by Billboard for being “a powerhouse vocalist with a potent stage presence,” Chappell Roan completed an incredible run of shows in 2024, captivating audiences across North America while supporting Grammy-winning pop super star Olivia Rodrigo on her GUTS World Tour and headlining sold out dates at her sought-after solo performances. Over the summer, Roan delivered an electrifying lineup of performances, breaking audience records at touchstone music festivals such as Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and more.

Over the past year, Chappell Roan catapulted into stardom, releasing her highly-anticipated debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess–earning her praise, critical acclaim, and inclusion on the Best Albums of 2023 lists from Variety, Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Atlantic, Time, VOGUE, and many more. TeenVogue’s “pop star for the ages” wrapped her first sold out headline Midwest Princess Tour, selling out major cities across the U.S. and Canada. Every tour stop had its own unique theme (like “My Kink Is Karma,” “homecoming dance”) and incorporated opening sets from local drag queens. Roan’s shows have earned universal praise for her captivating performances, creating “a safe space…for self-expression,” and housing an unforgettable show riddled with “vaudevillian antics and pop-royalty-level confidence.”

With bold hooks, powerhouse vocals, and theatrical flair Chappell Roan has continued building a cult-like fanbase over the past year across releases like the booming, dance floor-ready “Red Wine Supernova”, her breathtaking self-written ballad “Kaleidoscope”, viral hit “Hot To Go” and last year’s cinematic fan favorite “Casual”. Her synth-pop smash breakthrough, 2020’s “Pink Pony Club” (co-written and produced by Daniel Nigro), set the tone for Chappell’s evolution into her own version of pop stardom: a small town rhinestone cowgirl delivering euphoric, heartfelt bangers, and a queer icon for a generation.

Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell is Whibley’s story, but it is also the untold story of Sum 41. Whibley takes you backstage, into the recording booth, and through the highest highs and lowest lows of the band whose story is inextricably woven with his own.

With his insightful, earnest, and genuine voice, Whibley gets real about fame, fortune, and the music industry. Detailing everything from winning at the MTV Video Music Awards and being nominated for a Grammy to revisiting his high-profile relationships and friendships, contending with invasive paparazzi, and suffering from health issues that brought him to the brink, Whibley offers a forthright and unforgettable memoir.

Deryck Whibley shared the below thoughts on his upcoming memoir:

“Ten years ago, I found myself on the brink of death in a hospital bed. Surviving that moment, I made a promise to myself: I would fight harder than ever for this band and strive to become the best version of myself. Today, I’m proud to say that Sum 41 is experiencing the greatest success in our career, with our biggest hits on the radio and performing at the largest shows of our lives. This book is the story of that journey—through the good, the bad, and the really fucking ugly. It’s about how I fought my way back, the battles I faced along the way, and how I turned those struggles into the fuel that powers everything I do now.”

This year the band released their final double album, Heaven :x: Hell on March 29th, 2024 via Rise Records. Heaven :x: Hell is the most ambitious album from Sum 41 yet - Heaven is 10 tracks of snarling high energy pop punk, while Hell consists of ten heavy metal anthems spiked with fret-burning solos, thrashing riffs, and fist-pumping hooks.

This highly acclaimed final album included singles such as “Dopamine,” “Landmines,” "Rise Up," and "Waiting On A Twist Of Fate." "Landmines" was performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and reached #1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart, marking the band's first #1 single since "Fat Lip" claimed the spot in 2001. The track also hit the #1 spot at Alternative Radio and Active Rock Radio in Canada.

For the final time as a collective, Deryck will be hitting the road this September with the rest of Sum 41 for the final U.S. leg of the “Tour of the Setting Sum.” Since kicking off this world tour back in March, the band has made stops in Japan, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and more. The band will perform their largest show to date to a sold-out crowd of over 35,000 people at Paris La Défense Arena in France in November, and they will be playing their final hometown shows as a band in Toronto, Ontario, at Scotiabank Arena on January 28 and January 30, 2025. Tickets to all shows are on sale now at www.sum41.com

Looking back at the band’s storied 27-year career, Sum 41 has firmly cemented their place in rock history with over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple Billboard Charting releases, a Grammy Award nomination, 2 Juno Awards (7 nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, multiple Alternative Press Music Awards, and countless other accolades.

SABRINA CARPENTER RELEASES HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED NEW ALBUM SHORT N’ SWEET

Today, Sabrina Carpenter shares her eagerly awaited new album, Short n’ Sweet out now via Island Records/Universal Music Canada. The album, showcasing her showstopping vocals and sharp songcraft, has been poised as one of the most anticipated albums of 2024 and represents the superstar's culmination of a historic year.  Check out the full tracklisting below. Listen HERE.

Sabrina Carpenter wrote the album with Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, and Steph Jones, along with John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, and Jack Antonoff, who also produced the album.  Short n’ Sweet is Sabrina’s most personal album yet penning 12 tracks that are undeniably relatable and honest, crafting a uniquely diverse yet remarkably cohesive work of art.

With two smash hits already off the album, Sabrina notably made history by emerging as “the first female artist to top the Billboard Global 200 and Global Ex-US charts simultaneously with two different songs, namely “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”  Teaming up with GRAMMY-Award-winning collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, “Please Please Please” was also her first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Among other firsts, she became “the first artist to earn two #1 entries at Top 40 radio this year” as “Espresso” ruled the format at #1 for three straight weeks. As the third fastest song to hit 1 Billion streams in Spotify history, “Espresso” also marked her second #1 on the Billboard Pop Airplay Chart and received unanimous critical applause. Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The New York Times predicted “Espresso” early on as the song of the summer. Scaling charts worldwide, the Platinum-certified captured the #1 spot on the Spotify Global, US, and UK charts.  The single’s success only increased the incredible momentum generated from the platinum hit “Feather,” which scored her first #1 at Top 40 Radio.

In the UK, she entered rarified air as “one of the only artists to reach #1 and #2 on the UK chart, placing her in good company alongside Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Ed Sheeran (whom she solely shares the record for holding the chart for five consecutive weeks). Plus, she has notably logged 12 weeks total #1 on the UK Singles Chart this year. A true cultural icon, she even starred in an official 2024 NBC Olympics commercial.

Next month, Sabrina will embark on the North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet Tour, which kicks off September 23rd in Columbus. The 33-date arena tour sold out shortly after going on sale earlier this summer and will hit cities across the US and Canada including New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto, Austin, and more. Amaarae, Griff and Declan McKenna will be supporting Sabrina on this tour. Sabrina has partnered with PLUS1 on this tour to launch the Sabrina Carpenter Fund, which will support the well-being of people and animals, including national and local organizations working on mental health issues, animal welfare, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
