FIRST SINGLE “MOTHER I MISS YOU” BY JOHN P. KEE DROPS FRIDAY

Death Row Records proudly announces its upcoming release, Altar Call, a deeply personal and soul-stirring gospel compilation album, arriving on April 27. News of the project was officially unveiled today via OkayPlayer.

Executive produced by Snoop Dogg, Altar Call serves as a spiritual continuation of his gospel journey that began with his chart-topping 2018 album Bible of Love, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums and earned a BET Award nomination. This new body of work carries even greater emotional weight as it’s dedicated to Snoop’s late mother and set to be released on her birthday.

Snoop Dogg shared with OkayPlayer, “The spirit of my mother will forever live within me. This album is a reflection of what she has taught me to use my voice and my platform to spread love and heal the world. Just another chapter out of the ‘Bible of Love.’"

The 21-track project seamlessly weaves together traditional gospel with modern soul, R&B, and hip-hop influences, resulting in a powerful and contemporary soundscape that honors the genre’s roots while pushing it forward. Altar Call features a compelling mix of gospel legends and fresh voices, including the heartfelt lead single “Mother I Miss You” by the iconic John P. Kee, releasing this Friday, and Jamie Foxx’s soul-stirring rendition of “Grandma’s Hands,” a moving tribute to the Bill Withers classic. Other highlights include the reflective “Grace and Mercy” by Charlie Bereal and the uplifting “Just Believe” by JANE HANDCOCK, each offering their own message of faith, resilience, and spiritual awakening.

Reflecting on his relationship with Snoop Dogg and the impact of Beverly Tate, John P. Kee shared: "I’ve known Snoop for a while. One of the things I’ve admired about him over the years has been his love for his mother. He has always honored her in such a way that inspired those that knew him personally to do the same! The amazing thing about this writing assignment was that I wanted to do something for the family during their time of bereavement. Look at God! He made a way for me to honor her by writing this song that definitely represents her love, reverence, honor, and care for her family! Mother Beverly, we will never forget you, Uncle John P Kee"

Altar Call is more than an album. It’s a heartfelt testimony. A moment of reflection, faith, and community. A reminder that no matter your path, there is always room for grace.

MORGAN WALLEN CONFIRMS TRACKLIST TO FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM

MORGAN WALLEN CONFIRMS TRACKLIST
TO FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM

I’m The Problem to Feature Collaborations with
Post Malone, Tate McRae, Eric Church, ERNEST & HARDY

Pre-Save Album HERE

“I Ain’t Comin’ Back (Feat. Post Malone)” Out Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After spending the past few weeks teasing song titles from his upcoming album I’m The Problem on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Morgan Wallen is revealing the full tracklist to the robust 37-song project. Featuring collaborations with pop superstars Post Malone and Tate McRae, plus close friends Eric Church, ERNEST and HARDY, I’m The Problem arrives May 16. Pre-save HERE.

The album opens with the title track, “I’m The Problem,” a cutting double-edged confession that reveals the complexities of a relationship at its lowest point. It concludes with “I’m A Little Crazy,” a quiet, self-reflective song that looks inward while examining the world outside. Between all of that, Wallen displays his ability to reach listeners on a granular level.

While Wallen co-wrote 22 of the tracks on the album, he tapped into 49 songwriters, curating a tracklist that’s both deeply personal and resonant, while viewing life events through a different lens than he’s used in the past.

“A lot of the concepts and things we said were a little more difficult with this album,” Wallen says of the writing and refining process. “We were trying to dig deep on things and trying to find new angles. And I feel like we did that. I feel like there's a lot of stuff that I haven't said in this record, which I'm really, really proud of.”

I Ain’t Comin’ Back (Feat. Post Malone),” available Friday, marks the duo’s second collaboration following the crossover success of “I Had Some Help” last year, which recently topped two billion global streams. Written by Wallen, Louis Bell, Michael Hardy, Austin Post, Ernest Keith Smith and Ryan Vojtesak, and produced by Joey Moi, “I Ain’t Comin’ Back” teases a cheeky play-on-words, as the guy leaves the relationship, vowing never to return: There’s a lot of reasons I ain't Jesus / But the main one is that I ain’t coming back.

Pre-save “I Ain’t Comin’ Back (Feat. Post Malone)” ahead of Friday, HERE.

Wallen recently became the first artist ever to have two albums spend over 100 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. With each album, Wallen has refined his music, but with this one, Wallen digs even deeper, providing a glimpse into his life that feels more intimate, more grounded and closer to his core.

The project sparked Wallen’s 2025 I’m The Problem Tour. Kicking off June 20 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Wallen’s 20-show run will include stops in Seattle, Washington; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario and more. With a second stop recently added in Madison, Wisconsin, Wallen’s appearances will mark the first time an artist has played two consecutive nights at Camp Randall Stadium.

A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as first-of-three across select dates. Coupled with Wallen’s Sand In My Boots Festival, these 21 shows are the only place to see the superstar in 2025.

Is MGK getting ready to drop a new album?

After his first show of 2025 at the F1 race, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (legal name Colson Baker) premiered a preview of a unreleased track off of his upcoming album. So far there is very little known about the album but a co-host on a popular hip hop podcast might have just dropped some valuable information on it that most did not pick up on. First check out the preview of the new song below.

MGK is getting ready to drop his upcoming album following his wildly popular “Tickets To My Downfall” and “Mainstream Sellout” . It seems fans are finally seeing signs that something is coming after his leave of absence following his split with fiancee Megan Fox .

During the most recent episode of the Hip Hop podcast No Jumper as the three host were discussing being kicked off Alabama Barkers first stream. It brought up past tension between host Adam 22 and MGK and how it seemed that Travis Barker took MGK’s side in the whole beef. But blink and you miss it Co-host Brick Baby dropped that he will be featured on Machine Gun Kellys upcoming album and he added that it will be dropping “Very Soon”. With no other information on this project yet this anouncement came as a bit of a surprise.Though he did not go into anymore detail this suggest that MGK is going back to his rap roots that his fans have been asking for online.

While an official release date is still to be announced, it’s clear that MGK’s new project will feature some exciting and unexpected guest appearances. Stay tuned for more details as the album’s release draws near. Let us know what you want from the next MGK album!

ASAP Rocky has been found not guilty

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Rapper A$AP Rocky, legally known as Rakim Mayers, was acquitted Tuesday of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The charges were related to a 2021 incident where Mayers was accused of firing a gun at his former friend, Terell Ephron, professionally known as A$AP Relli. The Los Angeles jury, comprising seven women and five men, delivered the unanimous not guilty verdict after approximately three hours of deliberation, concluding a three-week trial.

Prosecutors alleged that on November 6, 2021, Mayers discharged a firearm at Ephron during a dispute on a Hollywood street, with one bullet reportedly grazing Ephron's knuckles. The defense countered that Mayers fired blanks from a prop gun obtained from a music video set and acted in self-defense.

The trial garnered significant attention, partly due to Mayers' status as a Grammy-nominated artist and his relationship with superstar Rihanna. Rihanna attended much of the trial, often accompanied by the couple's two young sons.

As the jury reached the verdict in the gun trial and announced that ASAP Rocky was not guilty on his first count the rapper dove into the arms of long time girlfriend and mother of his two kids Rihanna. As the judge told him that they were not done reading his sentence the stress and nerves were visibly back on Rockys shoulders. To the luck of the famed rapper he was found not guilty on all counts. As the jurors left the Los Angeles court room Mayers told them “Thank y’all for saving my life.”
