Is MGK getting ready to drop a new album?

After his first show of 2025 at the F1 race, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (legal name Colson Baker) premiered a preview of a unreleased track off of his upcoming album. So far there is very little known about the album but a co-host on a popular hip hop podcast might have just dropped some valuable information on it that most did not pick up on. First check out the preview of the new song below.

MGK is getting ready to drop his upcoming album following his wildly popular “Tickets To My Downfall” and “Mainstream Sellout” . It seems fans are finally seeing signs that something is coming after his leave of absence following his split with fiancee Megan Fox .

During the most recent episode of the Hip Hop podcast No Jumper as the three host were discussing being kicked off Alabama Barkers first stream. It brought up past tension between host Adam 22 and MGK and how it seemed that Travis Barker took MGK’s side in the whole beef. But blink and you miss it Co-host Brick Baby dropped that he will be featured on Machine Gun Kellys upcoming album and he added that it will be dropping “Very Soon”. With no other information on this project yet this anouncement came as a bit of a surprise.Though he did not go into anymore detail this suggest that MGK is going back to his rap roots that his fans have been asking for online.

While an official release date is still to be announced, it’s clear that MGK’s new project will feature some exciting and unexpected guest appearances. Stay tuned for more details as the album’s release draws near. Let us know what you want from the next MGK album!

ASAP Rocky has been found not guilty

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Rapper A$AP Rocky, legally known as Rakim Mayers, was acquitted Tuesday of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The charges were related to a 2021 incident where Mayers was accused of firing a gun at his former friend, Terell Ephron, professionally known as A$AP Relli. The Los Angeles jury, comprising seven women and five men, delivered the unanimous not guilty verdict after approximately three hours of deliberation, concluding a three-week trial.

Prosecutors alleged that on November 6, 2021, Mayers discharged a firearm at Ephron during a dispute on a Hollywood street, with one bullet reportedly grazing Ephron's knuckles. The defense countered that Mayers fired blanks from a prop gun obtained from a music video set and acted in self-defense.

The trial garnered significant attention, partly due to Mayers' status as a Grammy-nominated artist and his relationship with superstar Rihanna. Rihanna attended much of the trial, often accompanied by the couple's two young sons.

As the jury reached the verdict in the gun trial and announced that ASAP Rocky was not guilty on his first count the rapper dove into the arms of long time girlfriend and mother of his two kids Rihanna. As the judge told him that they were not done reading his sentence the stress and nerves were visibly back on Rockys shoulders. To the luck of the famed rapper he was found not guilty on all counts. As the jurors left the Los Angeles court room Mayers told them “Thank y’all for saving my life.”

Did you know you can get married at Riot Fest???

If you and your partner share a love for punk rock, alternative music, and festival culture, Riot Fest offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to tie the knot in a setting that’s anything but traditional. Each year, the festival embraces the spirit of individuality and rebellion by allowing couples to get married right on festival grounds. With live music, a passionate crowd, and an unforgettable atmosphere, saying “I do” at Riot Fest is a dream for fans who want a wedding as unique as their love story.

How It Works

Riot Fest provides an official wedding chapel at the festival, allowing couples to book ceremonies throughout the weekend. While the details can vary each year, the festival typically sets up a designated space where an ordained officiant is available to conduct legal or symbolic ceremonies. Some couples come dressed in full wedding attire, while others keep it casual in band tees and combat boots—there are no rules when it comes to celebrating love in true punk fashion. Friends, family, and even festival strangers can gather to witness the special moment, making it an experience unlike any other.

What You Need to Know

If you’re interested in getting married at Riot Fest, it’s essential to plan ahead. Here are a few key things to consider:

  • Marriage License: If you want a legally binding wedding, make sure to obtain a marriage license in advance from the appropriate county or state where Riot Fest is held.

  • Booking a Time Slot: Riot Fest may require couples to sign up for a time slot, so check the official website or social media for details on how to reserve your wedding spot.

  • Guests and Witnesses: While the festival provides a fun and lively crowd, you might want to bring close friends or family to serve as witnesses for your big day.

  • Photography and Videography: Capture the moment with a photographer or have a friend take pictures so you can cherish the memories long after the music stops.

Why Get Married at Riot Fest?

A Riot Fest wedding is more than just a novelty—it’s a celebration of love, music, and individuality. Whether you and your partner met at a show, bonded over your favorite bands, or simply want a wedding that breaks away from tradition, this experience allows you to express your love in an unforgettable way. Plus, with an incredible lineup of artists performing as your unofficial wedding soundtrack, you’ll have a honeymoon built right into the weekend.

For punk rock couples who want to make their wedding day as rebellious and memorable as the music they love, Riot Fest offers the perfect place to say, "Till death (or the encore) do us part."

Jelly Roll & Friends Give Back to First Responders at Historic Rose Bowl Stadium Concert

JELLY ROLL & FRIENDS GIVE BACK TO FIRST RESPONDERS AT HISTORIC ROSE BOWL STADIUM CONCERT

Share

Tonight, music took center stage at the legendary Rose Bowl Stadium as Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Jelly Roll and Live Nation held A Concert for All First Responders with a historic crowd of nearly 16,000 emergency personnel, including more than 1,000 incarcerated firefighters from across California. Live Nation partnered with Jelly Roll on the special event to cover costs associated with the show and, with support from the Rose Bowl Stadium, helped produce the concert to thank wildfire first responders.

Jelly Roll shared from stage, “I want you to know that you are here tonight because you are a hero or you are a loved one of a hero. And I knew the moment I was watching this go down all the way in Tennessee in my house, I thought if I got a chance to go to California I was gonna play music to everyone who worked their ass off for the last 2 months trying to keep the rest of this place safe. Thank y’all for having me tonight – this is awesome!”

Over the 2+ hour show, Jelly Roll invited a legendary lineup of guest artists, including Nate Smith, Lainey Wilson, Shinedown, Marshmello, and Public Enemy to share the stage, creating an unforgettable 30-song setlist for the free event. The heartfelt and star-studded night included audience members from California Professional Fire Fighters, National Guard, California Conservation Corps, CDCR (incarcerated firefighters and staff), LAPD, LA Sheriff’s Department, Pasadena PD, Sierra Madre PD, Arcadia PD, Angels National Forest, Ventura Training Center, and FirstTix members along with their families.

“Music has the power to bring joy and healing, and we’re honored to partner with Jelly Roll to offer that to those who’ve served the Los Angeles community during the devastating wildfires and the rebuilding process,” said Geni Lincoln, President of California, Live Nation Concerts.

To kick off the night, Jelly Roll performed his chart-topping hits including “Liar”, “Son of a Sinner”, current Grammy nominated hit “I Am Not Okay”, “Need a Favor”, and more. He then began to invite special guests to share the stage, surprising fans with powerful duets and surprise collaborations such as “Whiskey On You” with Nate Smith and “Second Chance” with Shinedown.

Murder By Death Say Farewell With A Full Band Statement & Final Tour Announcement, Details On Final Album To Be Announced Soon

MURDER BY DEATH ANNOUNCE ITS FAREWELL WITH A FULL BAND

STATEMENT AND FINAL TOUR FOR 2025

U.S., CANADA AND UK HEADLINE AND FESTIVAL DATES TO SPAN JUNE THROUGH NOVEMBER WITH SUPPORT FROM LAURA JANE GRACE, WILLIAM ELLIOTT WHITMORE, AJJ, SHAWN JAMES AND BJ BAHRAM IN SELECT MARKETS

TICKETS FOR ALL SHOWS ARE ON SALE NOW VIA MURDERBYDEATH.COM

DETAILS ON MURDER BY DEATH’S FINAL ALBUM TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON

After 25 years, celebrated indie-rock band Murder By Death is announcing its final tour. Spanning June through November across the U.S. and parts of Canada and the UK, the extensive run honors a rewarding career spent on the road with support from Laura Jane Grace, William Elliott Whitmore, AJJ, Shawn James and BJ Bahram in select markets. Tickets for all shows are on sale now via the band’s website HERE. Murder By Death’s Adam Turla had the following to share about the tour and the band’s legacy:

This band has always been a jumble of contradictions. On the one hand, we've had a long-running career where we got to make art for a living. But on the other, we have always eluded

any kind of traditional success.

We weren't covered much in the press, we never had a song that had a lot of radio play, nothing ever went viral, we didn't have a big social media presence, we never played a good festival spot where there was a sea of people in the audience, not once opened an arena or even a big shell auditorium show or tour. We constantly lost opportunities because of the band name

and were somehow always treated like nobodies or yesterday's news by most

of the industry. But you, you gosh dang wonderful audience, managed

to keep us growing, and we never had a career slump.

When we were our busiest — playing over 200 shows a year — we were chronically underpaid and always barely scraping by. But people kept writing us or telling us how much we

mattered and kept showing up, and we started to believe it a little. And then over

the years, we grew to a more manageable place and it seemed possible to

carve out a niche in this massive, mean world of entertainment.

When I reflect on how good our career was and how lucky we were, I'm left with just gratitude

for the small team of folks who have worked with the band and this grassroots fan following

that has lifted us up the entire time. I feel like we owe any and all our success to you.

I never called us DIY — despite taking on much of the work ourselves — because there are always people behind the scenes helping: it takes a village. Thank you to the promoters, clubs, bands, managers, agents, artists, publishers, lawyers, publicists, crews, etc. etc. etc. who believed

in us and everyone who made this work for so long. An enormous thank you to those

of you who helped us through the many difficult periods.

Thank you for your relentless support, your passionate listening, and your generosity. It's been

the honor of my life to write, record, sing and perform for you. We are currently in

the studio pouring ourselves into a new album — stay tuned for it. After this tour,

we plan to continue to do our cave shows so we can have a way to meet up once

a year, but that's it. We will be joined on this last tour by Laura Jane Grace,

William Elliott Whitmore, AJJ, Shawn James and BJ Bahram.

Excited to see you all on this last trip out.

“Whirlwind captures the pinnacle of the singer’s journey thus far still while holding onto the parts of her that make her feel human” —American Songwriter

Additionally, in just the past year, Wilson was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, performed during the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Halftime Show, won Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards, three awards at the 59th ACM Awards and two awards at the 58th CMA Awards, where she also made her hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson also received two awards at this year’s ACM Honors: the prestigious Triple Crown Award—presented to those who have won ACM Entertainer of the Year, Female/Male Vocalist of the Year and New Female/Male Vocalist of the Year—and the Milestone Award, which is given to an artist who has had an unprecedented or outstanding year in country music.

A prolific and sought-after songwriter, Wilson has scored seven #1 hits including “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 2x PLATINUM Certified “Heart Like A Truck,” and has also collaborated with artists such as Post Malone (“Nosedive”), Cole Swindell (“Never Say Never”), Jelly Roll (“Save Me”) and HARDY (“wait in the truck”). She is also a triple threat within entertainment as a singer, songwriter and actor, as she made her acting debut in season 5 of Paramount’s hit series Yellowstone and recently returned for its final episode of the series. Moreover, Wilson wrote and recorded “Out of Oklahoma,” which was featured in the new Twisters movie.
