A Day To Remember live at Michigan Lottery Amphitheater

On October 7th, Michigan Lottery Amphitheater (formerly and forever known as Freedom Hill) had its last show of the 2021 season and they definitely went out with a bang. A Day To Remember, along with Asking Alexandria, invaded Sterling Heights on the 6th date of their Re-Entry Tour.

Asking Alexandria had 10 songs prepared for their set list including “Antisocialist”, “Into the Fire” and “Moving On”. They also played “Alone Again” and “Never Gonna Learn” from their new album See What’s on the Inside, which was released 6 days prior to the show. Every member of the band brought their A game. They were incredible, to say the least. The band definitely got the crowd pumped for A Day To Remember to finally take the stage.

Once night fell, A Day to Remember hit the stage and came out swinging. Every member of the band had an awesome entry due to the stage setup filled with smoke. The band is also currently promoting their new album titled You're Welcome. They performed 6 songs from it including “Degenerates”, “Mindreader” and “Resentment”.

Of course, A Day to Remember show is never complete without their trademark throwing of toilet paper rolls. The band hurls about 20 rolls of toilet paper into the audience to toss around. It was completely insane and just pure fun. It added so much more audience participation to the set. At the end of their set, the audience cheered the loudest for “If It Means a Lot to You” and “The Downfall of Us All”.

Both bands brought an insane amount of energy to the stage and performed like there was no tomorrow. It was a phenomenal night for pop punk and metalcore lovers alike.
