After the show the final 8 guys took to the American Idol red carpet. As soon as they walked out fans went crazy. You would have thought these guys have been famous forever, the way the crowd was cheering for them. The excitement was beaming off each one of there faces.  Quentin Alexander was the last contestant called to move on to be in the final 8 guys. “I was just sitting there hoping to be called up onto the stage. The hardest part is sitting and waiting.” Quentin had the best stage presents out of all the guys, with his unique outfits and great voice he is one of the best guys this season.

Daniel Seavey was in the opposite spot, he was lucky enough to be the first person called on the stage. He is the youngest contestant at just 15. Do not be fooled by his age, he already knows how to play 10 instruments and has an amazing voice. He told us that his music teacher was the one that gave him the push to do American Idol. Clark Beckham was loving the theme of Motown. Beckham said his favorite genre of music to perform was Motown and his favorite artist was Stevie Wonder. Even though all the guys were excited and happy to be moving on everyone agreed that the hardest part is saying goodbye to their American Idol family members. Adam Ezegel said “ We have all become a family here, and seeing your family leave gets harder each week.” They also all agree that the people and talent they have met so far has been the greatest thing about their time at Idol. Tune in Wednesday to see the final 16 perform.
