Bouncing Souls and H20 at St Andrews Hall

Some nights you just know you're in for something special, and last night at Saint Andrew’s Hall was one of those. H2O and The Bouncing Souls rolled through Detroit on their East Coast F#ck You Tour, and the energy in that room was unreal from the jump.

H2O came out swinging, opening with "Nothing to Prove," and the second that riff hit, the whole place just erupted. Toby Morse was everywhere — on the stage, in the crowd, screaming every word with us like he was one of our best friends. The band played like they had something to prove, even though we all knew they didn’t. It felt like a reminder of why hardcore still matters — pure heart, pure energy, no bullshit.

Then The Bouncing Souls took over and somehow pushed it even further. Greg Attonito looked like he was having the time of his life, and the crowd matched him every step of the way. Songs like "Hopeless Romantic," "True Believers," and, of course, "East Coast! Fuck You!" turned Saint Andrew’s into one giant singalong. It wasn’t just a show — it felt like a family reunion for punks from every era, sweaty hugs and all.

If you get the chance to catch this tour, do it. No fancy production, no gimmicks — just two legendary bands reminding everyone what this scene is really about.
