5 Seconds Of Summer with Pale Waves at Michigan Lottery Amphitheater
5 Seconds Of Summer or as some fans say 5Sauce stopped buy The Michigan Lottery Amphitheater. 5SOS are on their “Take My Hand” Summer US tour and have brought some of their friends from UK Pale Waves. Opening the show with energy and excitement the band warmed up the almost sold out show. playing some of their hits like “ Lies” and “Easy” Pale Waves are rising indie stars and one of the hottest bands out of the UK. The band just released their new song “Reasons To Live,” a euphoric burst of electric energy about finding someone who leads you out of darkness and gives you a reason to keep going. First premiered by Zane Lowe, the song is as ready for arenas as it is for screaming into a hairbrush in the mirror. If Pale Waves come back I recommend seeing them they won’t be the opener for much longer!
As The sun started to set and the venue filled with fog 5 Seconds of summer made their way to the stage. the whole band stood center stage to take in the roar of the crowd. Shortly after the band went into the first song of their impressive 24 song setlist “No Shame”. Going into this show knowing next to nothing about 5SOS I was pleasantly surprised about how good they were and how tight of a band they are! These guys really know how to put on one hell of a show!
