Turnstile At The Majestic Theater (SOLD OUT)
Turnstile has been on the road for what seems like the last few months hitting festivals along with their very own heading tour and as of this week playing a song on one of the late shows. The band has been on their “Turnstile Love Connection Tour” since the end of February with Citizen and Ceremony. On June 17 Turnstile brought the party to Detroit’s legendary music venue the Majestic Theater. You know you are about to have a good punk show when there is no security barricade letting the fans freely running on stage and singing with the band and jumping on top of the other fans. It reminded me of the days when I would go see Title Fight upstairs at The Magic Stick. It comes to a certain point when watching the show where you are almost memorized by watching the countless people doing flips into the crowd or running across peoples heads just to fall down and get right back up and do it again. The intensity of the crowd didn’t stop the band from showing off how actually good and tight they are as a band. They started off the show with a song I honestly thought would be a encore “Mystery”. Even If you have never heard this band I recommend seeing them when you can because they are actually a great amazing talent and they are keeping punk music alive.
Trust me buy tickets here.
