Saint Andrews hall was full of nestolgia as the room filled with a crowd of excited on lookers. New comers Tigers Jaw set the stage and energy for the evening. As co-headliners New Found Glory took the stage you could almost feel the crowd take a deep breath in unison as they were prepared to sing their hearts out. Opening with "Resurrection" it almost seems fitting. The 20 something crowd was surely resurrecting their high school selves in that moment. As the set continued so did the energy, so much in fact that the band even brought up a super fan. He had the opportunity to pick the next song the band played. His choice, "Oxygen" from the 2006 album, "Coming Home". The band ended their set with "My Friends Over You" a timeless favorite, but the icing on the cake was showering the crowd with multicolored confetti. Next up, Yellowcard! Opening with "Breathing" the crowd was bouncing off the walls with excitement. Their was something magical about hearing the screams in unison and the love you could feel in the room. They closed their set with "Ocean Avenue" the song that really made us all feel like we were all sixteen and it felt alright. The energy from both of these band gelled so well. Being able to experience these co-headliners in such an intimate venue was truly a gift.
