Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, and New Beat Fund @ Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut 9/8
I have been listening to Blink 182 for as long as I can remember, and the have played a big part in making me who I am. Finally being able to photograph them was indeed an honor and worth the long drive to Connecticut. Besides playing great music, Blink 182 put on one of the most visually stunning show I have ever seen. Even after being together for 22 years Blink still haven’t lost there sense of humor and are experts at cracking jokes in between songs.
Supporting Blink was an up-and-coming band named, New Beat Fund, whose lyrics are catchy and their stage presence, goofily entertaining. Four Year Strong, an in your face punk rock group, also put on an impressive performance. Before Blink came on a very special band came on just for this show on the tour. Taking Back Sunday played a 90 min set playing hits like “Cute Without The E,” “Make Damn Sure” and “A Decade Under The Influence.” With all of these top notch bands, this lineup is hard to beat.
