Detroit’s Jax Anderson, formally known as Flint Eastwood, is someone who is always authentically herself. She has set out on a mission to write alt-pop anthems that speak to the forces that keep us from loving ourselves, conquering them in the process.

Jax has been slowly unveiling dual songs from her upcoming album, Songs For Every Condition. Recently the tracks “Bigger Picture feat. VÉRITÉ” and “Say I Do” were released from the HAPPY portion of the album. Over the past few months, she’s also released the HOPEFUL and CLOUDY portions as well.

When asked about the upcoming concept album, Jax said: “Life happens in ways that are unpredictable & beautiful & everything/nothing all at once. There are so many moments to notice & feelings to cherish. A moment that happens when you're happy, may feel different when your condition changes to sad or excited or healing or heartbroken or joyful. Life changes constantly - to me the soundtrack of life feels more like a playlist than an album. Songs For Every Condition was inspired by the different conditions of life. I didn't force myself into a certain soundscape or to stick to a certain genre, but instead allowed the music to be inspired by the different conditions I was in at the time. What came out was a wonderful variety of honest songs.”

Be on the lookout for Songs For Every Condition, which will be out this fall on Neon Gold Records.

Jax will be playing a free show with Curtis Roach at the El Club in Detroit on August 4th, 2021 at 7PM. RSVP to the event here.
