Romance & Rebellion Release Lyric Video For New Single "BOYS DON'T CRY"

LA-based pop-rockers, Romance & Rebellion have released a lyric video for their new single "BOYS DON'T CRY." Watch and listen HERE. The single is off of the band's sophomore EP, Amps & Anthems, which debuted earlier this month.

On "BOYS DON'T CRY," vocalist David LaViola shares, "Boys don't have to be 'boys'...girls don't have to be 'girls'...and everyone should be able to rock a little pink.  'BOYS DON'T CRY' is an anthem for anyone who is anything but normal."

Produced by Warren Huart (Aerosmith, James Blunt, Korn), Stefan Litrownik (One Direction, Andy Grammer), and Lennon Leppert (Over Atlantic) Amps & Anthems is a 4-track EP that tears out all of the romantic innocence you've come to expect from Romance & Rebellion; distorts it, and cranks up the volume. On their new music, LaViola says, "These four tracks are filled with emo-studded angst, dripping with candy-coated heartache, wrapped in youthfully rebellious pop rock."

Romance & Rebellion was established in 2015 in Echo Park, CA. By the end of that year, the band had created a buzz around themselves solely using social media and live performances, and soon there after was recognized by pop producer Stefan Litrownik. After the release of their debut EP in June 2016, they had to opportunity to take the stage at influential festivals such as Warped Tour and SXSW, and even headlined Emo Nite LA.

Streetlight Manifesto calls out ticket distributors

This morning Streetlight Manifesto took to Facebook to voice their concern about ridiculous ticket surcharges, almost doubling the price of the ticket. In the bands statement they told fans that they were not aware of the amount of the surcharge and have promised to make it up to fans.  "We will brainstorm some sort of gift we can give each and every one of you that comes to the show in question." Read the full statement from the band below.

"IT AIN'T RIGHT.
Hi everyone
So, as many of you know, a certain company that handles ticketing for the majority of live events in this country somehow managed to add a $20 surcharge on a $25 ticket to see us play. We’ve always tried our best to keep ticket prices to our shows as low as possible, so this really makes us angry. We had no idea until the tickets went on sale and it’s our position that while ticketing fees are a necessity and a reality in the live music world, paying almost the full ticket price a second time to some company is completely and utterly insane. We’re looking into it now and we’re going to see if we can somehow get some part of that small fortune refunded to you guys. We’re also pretty angry that we didn’t know anything about this until we heard from you guys. Lastly, we’d LOVE to know where all the surcharges are going. At worst, if we can’t find a way to at least fix this retroactively, we will brainstorm some sort of gift we can give each and every one of you that comes to the show in question. It’ll be a lot of whatever-it-is, but we want to make this right. And lastly-lastly, we will add this to our list of things to check on before we announce shows in the future. Often times when there is a monopoly or a duopoly, companies try to get away with as much as they think they can get away with, and that, simply, ain’t right.

The ONLY way this would be alright is if they were printing the tickets on actual twenty dollar bills."

Conveyer Premiere New Music Video On Tattoo.com

Conveyer released a new music video "New Low" off of their new album "No Future"  just in time to start their 6 week tour in Europe with He'd PE.

“’New Low’ is a unique song for the album, we feel it has a bit of a different energy and wanted the music video to really capture that energy. We wanted the video to have a grittiness to it, and we are pleased with how it turned out,” admits CONVEYER drummer John Gaskill. Frontman Danny Adams adds, “This song is my way about talking out a struggle with social anxiety, and accepting that I can only control what people think about me so much.”

“We’ve been hard at work to share our music with new people in new places, and we are so grateful for (Hed) P.E. giving us a chance to do just that,” acknowledges Gaskill. “Europe has been a goal of ours and to be able to spend our first visit there with such an experienced band is exciting. We are gonna give Europe everything we’ve got. What a way to kick off 2018, No Future worldwide!”

Upcoming show: Neck Deep at The Majestic Theater Detroit

Neck Deep are headed to Majestic Theatre in Detroit, MI on February 9th for The Peace and The Panic Tour with support from Seaway, Creeper and Speak Low if You Speak Love.

Most recently, Neck Deep gave fans another music video before the end of this whirlwind year with the release of "Parachute!" On the track, Singer Ben Barlow shares "Parachute is one of the 'different' songs for Neck Deep on The Peace and the Panic. It's a song about wanderlust, the desire to travel, see the world and change your life in a profound way. Something I felt very strongly growing up and still do now. There's a love element to the song too, because if you can experience things with someone special that's even better." Watch the video below!

Celebrating their smash-hit album, The Peace and The Panic, which scored the #2 on the Top Album chart and #4 debut on Billboard Top 200 chart earlier this Summer, this will be the band's first return back to the United States since their Headlining Spot on the 2017 Vans Warped Tour. The 11-track album, produced by Mike Green (Pierce The Veil, Paramore), is a meditation on the constant duality of life and the struggles that come with it. The album garnered incredible praise with outlets like like Nylon, Billboard, New Noise Magazine, Kerrang, Rocksound and more and is available through Apple Music, Spotify, on Vinyl and in stores via Hopeless Records.

Tonight Alive Releases New Music Video "Disappear" feat. Lynn Gunn

Tonight Alive is celebrating the release of the music video for their latest single "Disappear" today. The super-charged track features Lynn Gunn (PVRIS) and is the third single from their upcoming album Underworld. On the track and collaboration, singer Jenna McDougall shares "Disappear is a song about the escapist inside all of us. As you can expect from Tonight Alive, the lyrics discuss freedom, but this time with a flavour of anonymity and detachment. Disappear was written with the intention of sounding neither like Pvris or Tonight Alive, and aimed to capture the sonic imagery of a long straight highway out of your comfort zone."

Musically, the upcoming album gives fans unique melodies and heavy hitting rock sounds. Lyrically, it is the most personal work they have ever put forth. It is full of moments that pushed the band to explore every aspect of themselves both creatively and emotionally. Due out January 12th, 2018 via Hopeless RecordsUnderworld is available for pre-order at http://smarturl.it/TAUnderworld.

"Disappear" premiered earlier today as Annie Mac's Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1 and joins previously released videos for "Crack My Heart" and "Temple," both of which have been seeing incredible streaming success with adds to Spotify's Rock This, The Scene, Pop Punk's Not Dead and Crash Course Playlists in the US, coveted New Music Friday adds in Thailand and Italy as well as spots on iTunes' Best of the Week and A-List: Rock Playlists in the UK.

Tonight Alive will be returning to the United States for a Co-Headlining Tour with Silverstein later this month to perform these tracks live for the first time. With support from Broadside and Picturesque, The Get Free Tour will kick off in Cleveland, OH on January 19th and travel to cities all around the United States before wrapping up on March 1st in Pittsburgh, PA. Just last week, he premiered the raging music video for the rising smash. In under seven days, it already amassed over 40 million YouTube views and counting.
